"During this course students create several of their own graphic sequences and stories, inspired by structured in-session drawing and writing prompts which will generate ideas and encourage experimentation. These practical exercises will be supported by short lectures, reflective group discussion, pair and individual work, alongside one-to-one feedback towards the end of term to accompany the personal project with which the course culminates. Contemporary examples are used as a starting point for exploring the huge potential of the form, from graphic memoirs and essays to realist and dystopian fiction. Homework is set each week. Suitable for all levels..."
